About BOOKWORM:
This is the biographical story of my childhood-years with my librarian/bookseller/history teacher father, in our time together after my mother died. It’s about the gift of reading aloud, and of being read to. It’s about the stories my father told and read to me when I became motherless, and the ways in which those nightly reading-sessions created the man I am.
Bookworm is a 60-min series of short monologues featuring myself, Ray Bradbury, Spider-Man, Rod Serling, the Minotaur, and many more, braiding together to a climax even I couldn’t have predicted.
